Our Philosophy:
Ark PvP is a highly competitive and often toxic environment. We impose as few rules as possible to keep gameplay organic. Temporary bans, timeouts, and data wipes are our primary punishments. Permanent bans are reserved for confirmed aimbotters/ESP users and severe real-world violations.
- Confirmed Aimbot or ESP usage
- Filing a chargeback
- DDoS attacks or threats
- Doxxing (releasing private/personal information)
- Real-world threats of violence or harm (e.g., "I know where you live")
All other offenses will result in temporary bans, timeouts, wipes, or warnings as described below.
-
1.1 - Meshing/Glitch Base Spots
- Building bases in spots that cannot be entered by simply crouching and walking in. The following types of spots are all off-limits for bases:
- Meshed Spots: The base is fully behind the mesh and is not accessible through normal gameplay. The only way in is by meshing a sleeping bag or bed behind the terrain.
- Glitch Spots: Accessing the spot requires exploiting game mechanics, such as throwing a cryopod through a small hole and whistling a small dino (e.g., Pelagornis) to follow, then using "ride" to force your character through the terrain.
- Grapple Spots: The spot can only be reached by using the grapple glitch to clip through terrain.
-
Rule of thumb: If you cannot walk or crouch into the entrance normally, it is off-limits. If you are unsure about a location, open a ticket before building there.
- First Offense:
- Non-Discord Members: 24 hours to join Discord and link account or receive a 3-day temp ban.
- Discord Members: Full demolition of the meshed/glitch base and all connected structures. Formal warning issued. The tribe must relocate to a legitimate spot.
- Second Offense: Full demolition of the base, Ark Data wipe for all involved members, and a 3-day temp ban. Tribe must relocate.
- Third Offense: Full tribe wipe on the map where the offense occurred (all structures, tames, and inventory) and 14-day temp ban for all involved members.
-
1.2 - Meshed Spam
- Placing structures in the mesh to prevent building or claiming territory.
- Non-Discord Members: 48 hours to join Discord or receive a 3-day temp ban.
- Minor Intentional Meshing (Placing a single foundation or structure in the mesh):
- First Offense: Structure removal and warning.
- Second Offense: Structure removal and Ark Data wipe.
- Third Offense: 7-day temp ban for the offending member.
- Major Intentional Meshing (Placing multiple structures or using the mesh to expand a base):
- First Offense: Structure removal and Ark Data wipe.
- Second Offense: Full tribe wipe.
- Unintentional Meshing:
- Structure removal and a warning will be issued.
-
1.3 - Meshed Loot Stashes
- Placing storage structures in the mesh to prevent destruction.
- Non-Discord Members: 24 hours to join Discord or receive a 3-day temp ban.
- Empty Stashes:
- First Offense: Structure deletion and warning for all members.
- Second Offense: Structure deletion and Ark Data wipe for all members.
- Third Offense: Full tribe wipe.
- Stashes with Loot:
- First Offense: Structure deletion, Ark Data wipe, and formal warning.
- Second Offense: Full tribe wipe.
- Third Offense: 15-day temp ban for members involved.
-
1.4 - Meshed Sleeping Bags
- Placing sleeping bags/beds behind terrain.
- First Offense:
- Non-Discord Members: 24 hours to join Discord or receive a 3-day temp ban.
- Discord Members: Ark Data wipe and formal warning.
-
1.5 - Meshed Turrets
- Placing turrets behind the mesh for an unfair advantage.
- Single Meshed Turret:
- First Offense: Turret removal and warning for all tribe members if person who placed it is unknown. Otherwise just warn the person who placed it.
- Second Offense: Turret removal and Ark Data wipe for all tribe members if person who placed it is unknown. Otherwise just data wipe the person who placed it.
- Third Offense: Turret removal and 3 day ban of all tribe members if turret placer is unknown, otherwise 5 day ban of individual placer.
- Multiple Meshed Turrets:
- First Offense: Turret removal and data wipe for all tribe members if turret placer is unkown, otherwise data wipe only the placer.
- Second Offense: Turret removal and 3 day ban for all tribe members if placer is known, otherwise 5 day ban for individual who placed it.
- Third Offense: Full structure wipe of the tribe.
- Fourth Offense: Full structure wipe of the tribe and 30-day temp ban for repeat offenders.
-
1.6 - Floating Turrets
- Turrets not properly attached to ground structures.
- First Offense: Turret removal and warning for all members.
- Second Offense: Turret removal and Ark data wipe for offending members.
- Third Offense: Full structure wipe and formal warning.
- Fourth Offense: Full structure wipe and 14-day temp ban for repeat offenders.
- Insiding
- Kiting dinos
- Drowning players/tames
- Caging (24-hour max, proof required from prisoner)
- Exceeding Time Limit:
- First Offense: AOE wipe around the cage.
- Second Offense: Full structure wipe.
- Abuse Reports:
- First Offense: Formal warning.
- Second Offense: Ark data wipe.
- Tribe Responsibility: Primary offenders receive the harshest punishments. Tribe members who knowingly participate share responsibility. Tribe leaders should monitor members and report violations.
- Evidence Requirements: Clear video proof is required. Screenshots must be timestamped. Submit all evidence through the ticket system.
- Temp Bans: Most bans are now temporary. Only the most severe real-world violations (see above) will result in a permanent ban.
- Toxicity: Ark PvP is a toxic game by nature. We will only issue a permanent ban for hate speech if it involves real-world threats, doxxing, or similar. Otherwise, even the worst language (including slurs) will result in a temp ban of some sort.
For a complete list of terms, see the Glossary.
- Temp Ban: A temporary ban, usually 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days depending on severity and repeat offenses.
- Ark Data Wipe: The player's upload data (in the Obelisk) will be reset.
- VC Wipe: The player's Discord currency balance will be reset.
- Popcorning: The act of dropping items on the ground to destroy them during a raid.
- Bob: A new or inexperienced player with minimal progression.
- Meshing: Placing a structure under the map's texture in a way that makes it hard or impossible to destroy.
- A structure is considered meshed when any of the following conditions are met:
- Cannot be damaged by conventional means (C4, Rockets, Tek Rifle). Tames do not count.
- Is fully under the texture of the map (fully hidden from normal view)
